Pablo Barragán

Pablo Barragán studied with Antonio Salguero at the Seville Conservatory and Matthias Glander at the Barenboim-Said Foundation in Seville. Winner of the 2013 Crédit Suisse Young Soloists Award, he has collaborated with the Linz Brucknerhaus, Barcelona Symphony, Hamburg Symphony, Spanish Radio and Television Symphony, and Slovak Philharmonic Orchestras. In the upcoming season, Barragán will embark on a Latin American tour, including appearances with the Buenos Aires Philharmonic at Teatro Colón, and will perform with the Murcia Region Symphony Orchestra and Pforzheim Chamber Orchestra at Berlin’s Philharmonic Hall. Recent chamber music highlights include performances at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, the Salzburg Mozarteum, and Vienna’s Konzerthaus with Elena Bashkirova, Beatrice Rana, Kian Soltani, Noa Wildschut, and Andrei Ioniță. In 2024, he recorded Balagan, which is dedicated to twentieth-century Jewish composers, and Szinergia, a collaboration with the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra. Barragán is Professor at the Barenboim-Said Academy in Seville and the Madrid Royal Conservatory.
