Leikie Glick

Born in Jerusalem, Leah (Leikie) Glick has performed in Carnegie and Alice Tully Halls in New York, Konzerthaus Berlin, Menuhin Hall in London, Konzerthaus and Musikverein in Vienna, among other world stages. She has appeared as a soloist with the Israel Chamber Orchestra, Israel Camerata Jerusalem, and Cervo Festival Orchestra in Italy, has participated in the Orford Music Festival, Classical Tahoe, and Keshet Eilon, and freelances with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and the Israeli Opera Orchestra. Glick received first prize in the Rudolf Barshai International and Fuchs Chamber Music Competitions. She studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Mannes School of Music, and Juilliard School, where she was mentored by Michael Gaisler, Daniel Panner, Roger Tapping, and Molly Carr. She is Founder, Artistic Director, and member of Ensemble Finale, an Israeli chamber ensemble. She plays a Jonathan Hai viola on generous loan from Yehuda Zisapel.
