Hungarian-American pianist Julia Hamos has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at major venues, including Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and the Kennedy Center. Her teachers have included Sir András Schiff, Richard Goode, and Christopher Elton. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and Mannes School of Music, she later studied at the Barenboim-Said and Kronberg Academies. She has participated in the Krzyzowa, Trasimeno, and Spoleto Festivals, among others. She made her solo debut at Pierre Boulez Hall in Berlin in 2025. Recent engagements have included St. John’s Waterloo in London, the Lockenhaus Festival in Austria, Hayes Piano Series in Washington, DC, and in a combined solo and four-hand recital with Sir András Schiff, for whom she serves as teaching assistant at the Kronberg Academy. Upcoming performances include those at Wigmore Hall, the Ruhr Piano Festival, and Pierre Boulez Hall.
