Galia Raviv Loftus began her horn studies at the Kfar Saba Conservatory with Ruti Varon, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University under Hezi Nir, and a master’s degree at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin under Marie-Luise Neunecker. Over the years, she has performed with numerous orchestras and participated in international festivals. She received the Susan and Bob Kornhauser First Prize for Brass Instruments at the 2014 Aviv Competitions. Raviv Loftus has been a member of the Israel Philharmonic since 2025.
