Michal Korman has won prizes at the Gaspar Cassado and Enescu International Competitions. She has appeared as a soloist with many of Israel’s leading orchestras, including the Israel Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Tivoli Symphony Orchestra in Copenhagen, National Orchestras of Peru and Costa Rica, Juilliard Orchestra, and others. Korman is a founding member of the Israeli Chamber Project. Born in Jerusalem, she earned an artist diploma from the Juilliard School, where she studied with Joel Krosnick and Timothy Eddy. Her teachers in Israel include Hillel Zori, Uzi Wiesel, and Sabina Frankenberg. Korman previously served on the faculty of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and now regularly gives workshops and masterclasses in Israel and abroad.
