Born in 1989 in France to a family of musicians, Adrien began playing piano and viola at age 4. He studied with Jean Sulem at the Paris Conservatoire, continuing with Tatiana Masurenko and Tabea Zimmerman. He has won numerous international prizes including the Primrose, Tertis and Brahms competitions, and awards from the ‘Fondation Lagardère’, L’Or du Rhin and Safran foundations. This season he is Artist-in-Residence with the Philharmonique Royal de Liège, and made his debut with the Radio-France Philharmonique, Polish National Radio Symphony, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Capitole de Toulouse and Les Siècles orchestras. Next season he has again been invited by the French National Orchestra and to tour with Les Siècles playing Berlioz’s Harold in Italy. Chamber music appearances include the Salzburg, Mecklenburg, Schubertiade, Amsterdam, and Aix-en-Provence Festivals. He plays a viola made in Cremona in 1780 by Nicola Bergonzi, on loan from the Boubo Foundation.
