Winner of the 2018 International Jacques Thibaud Competition (Paris), Ukrainian-German violinist Diana Tischenko was named ‘Rising Star 2022-3’ by the European Concert Hall Organisation.  Her career has developed rapidly with appearances at prestigious concert halls, with her debut album, Strangers in Paradise released by Warner Classics to critical acclaim and a five star award from BBC Music Magazine. Diana’s recent collaborations with conductors Ivan Fischer and François Xavier-Roth featured appearances with the Budapest Festival, Vienna Symphony and Gurzenich orchestras in venues including the Berlin Philharmonie, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Berlin Konzerthaus and Boulez Saal. Recent video productions include performances  with Deutsche Grammophon and Albrecht Mayer, and concerts with the WDR Funkhaus orchestras. In 2022 Diana participated in the environmental project of the World Human Forum, performing Vivaldi’s ‘Four Seasons’ concertos, streamed worldwide on channel ARTE, described at the Prague Film Festival as the ‘best filmed concert 2022’. Diana plays a 17th century Cremona Stradivarius violin.
