Born in Spain, Pablo Barragán is a dedicated and adventurous clarinettist in his programming which has taken him to many countries in Europe and South America. He attaches great importance to the interaction between musicians, believing that artistic symbiosis is the ideal state of music-making. The 2022-2023 season began with appearances at festivals, including the Sommerliche Musiktage Hitzacker, the Murten Classics (Switzerland), and the Heidelberger Frühling. He has also made guest appearances with the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra and the Philharmonie Baden-Baden Orchestra. Together with pianist Sophie Pacini, he combines clarinet sonatas by Weinberg, Bernstein, Prokofiev and Poulenc in his recent album Boundless.
