Ron Regev

Dr. Ron Regev serves as Chairman of the Benjamin and Fenia Oren Keyboard Instruments Department at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. He has performed as a soloist with the Armenian, Jerusalem, Chicago, Cheyenne, and Dubuque Symphony Orchestras, and has participated in the Ravinia, Salzburg, Aspen and Bonn festivals. Regev’s live performances and recordings have been broadcast on Israel’s Kol Hamusica and on classical music stations in Chicago and New York. His teachers include Prof. Emanuel Krasovsky at the Tel Aviv Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, and Jerome Lowenthal and Joseph Kalichstein at the Juilliard School in New York. Regev was a Fulbright scholar at Juilliard; his doctoral work earned him the Richard F. French Doctoral Prize, and became the basis of a lecture and recital at the Library of Congress. He has served on the Juilliard faculty, and is a music technology consultant. He designed the iPad app from which he performs.
