Amit Dolberg

Amit Dolberg is a leading performer of new music in Israel and abroad. Numerous works have been written and dedicated to him. He is Founder and Artistic Director of the award-winning Meitar Ensemble, of the CEME International Festival for New Music, the Young CEME Festival, the Matan Givol International Composers Competition, and Studio Raash for multidisciplinary and electronic creation, in collaboration with the Meitar and Tremolo ensembles. Amit has performed and recorded as a soloist under conductors including Pierre-André Valade and Ilan Volkov, with orchestras such as the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, the Taiwan National Orchestra, the Jerusalem Camerata and the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. He has given masterclasses in the US at Columbia, Harvard, Berklee and the Manhattan School of Music, McGill University in Montreal and throughout Europe. Dolberg is Senior Lecturer at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance where he founded and directs Tedarim, a Masters degree programme for contemporary music performance.
