Noga Shaham

Noga Shaham, born into a musical family and completed her BA degree at the Berlin University of the Arts under Professor Nora Chastain. Since 2013 she has received America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarships, and is a graduate of the David Goldman Chamber Music Programme of the Jerusalem Music Centre.  Since 2023 she has been studying at the Kronberg Academy under Nobuko Imai. Having won Second Prize at the Cecil Aronowitz International Viola Competition in 2021, she has appeared with international orchestras such as the Jerusalem Symphony, the Israel Symphony Rishon Letzion, and the Württembergisches Heilbronn Kammerorchester. An accomplished chamber musician Noga has collaborated with renowned artists including Gidon Kremer, Antje Weithaas, Christian Tetzlaff, Gary Hoffman, Raphael Wallfisch, Miklós Perenyi and Jörg Widmann. She has performed in prominent festivals such as Kronberg Academy, Gstaad Menuhin Academy, Verbier, Crans-Montana Classics and Ozawa and this year performed at the Wigmore Hall in London.
