Fedor Rudin is acclaimed for his technical brilliance, stylistic sensitivity and expansive musical vision. He was a prizewinner at the Premio Paganini and George Enescu competitions, and has performed as a soloist with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, SWR Symphonieorchester, Hamburg Symphony Orchestra and other orchestras under conductors including Anja Bihlmaier, Eivind Gullberg Jensen and Vladimir Jurowski. An active chamber musician, Rudin has performed with musicians including Boris Kuznetsov, Igor Levit and the Pavel Haas Quartet. Since 2022, he has served as Artistic Director of the Rencontres Musicales de Chaon Chamber Music Festival in France. He is also a co-founder of the Fratres Trio, which explores the intersection of classical music and jazz. Born in Moscow and raised in Paris, he currently serves as Professor of Orchestral Education at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He plays the 1712 ‘ex-Viotti’ Stradivari violin generously loaned by Canimex, Inc.
