Tibi Cziger is Founder and Artistic Director of the Israeli Chamber Project and a member of the Israel Contemporary Players. He has served as Principal Clarinetist of the Israeli Camerata Orchestra, Guest Co-principal of the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, and member of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra under Daniel Barenboim. Cziger earned a bachelor’s degree from Tel Aviv University, a master’s degree from the University of Southern California, and an artist diploma from the Juilliard School. His principal mentors include Charles Neidich, Yehuda Gilad, Richard Lesser, and Yitzchak Kazap. Alongside his performing career, Cziger is a dedicated teacher who regularly gives masterclasses and workshops, and whose students have won international competitions. He serves on the faculty of the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University, the Jerusalem Music Centre, and the Young Israel Philharmonic.
