Pascal Moragues – Clarinet

Pascal Moraguès is Principal Clarinet of the Orchestre de Paris, Professor at the Paris Conservatory, and Guest Professor at the Osaka College of Music (Japan). In his busy career as a soloist, he has performed under the baton of Barenboim, Boulez, Bychkov, Giulini, Mehta, Sawallich, Eschenbach, Bashmet, Krivine, Bruggen, Langrée and Sanderling. He is a member of the Moraguès Quintet, the Viktoria Mullova Ensemble, the Katia and Marielle Labèque Ensemble, and plays regularly with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. In chamber music he has played with Richter, Zacharias, Barenboim, Bashkirova, Eschenbach, Engerer, Golan, Bishop, Maisenberg, Kalichstein, Mintz, Bell, Hoffman, Guttman and Lott, with the Wanderer and Guarneri trios, and with the Borodin, Sine Nomine, Carmina, Amati, Prazak, Leipzig, Lindsay, Endellion, Jerusalem, Ysaÿe and Talich string quartets. He regularly gives concert tours and masterclasses in Europe, Asia, Japan, the USA and Australia.
