Eric Le Sage – piano
Born in Aix en Provence, Eric Le Sage has won major international competitions including Porto (1985), the Robert Schumann competition in Zwickau (1989), and the Leeds International (1989). He has given recitals and chamber music concerts in prestigious venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Suntory Hall, Carnegie Hall, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Schwartzenberg’s Schubertiada, Ludwigsburg Festival, Salle Pleyel and many more. He has performed as soloist with leading orchestras worldwide including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Toronto Symphony, Dresden Philharmonic, NHK Symphony, Rotterdam Philharmonic, and Munich Chamber orchestras. In 2010 his recordings of the complete works for piano by Robert Schumann were released to great acclaim under the Alpha (Outhere) label winning the prestigious Jahrespreis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik; he has been invited to perform in this context in major international venues. He participated in a 5 CD recording of Fauré’s entire works for chamber music with piano.
