Daniel Austrich – Violin

Russian-born violinist Daniil Austrich made his debut at age 11 in St. Petersburg where he studied with Alla Aranovsky. He went on to study with Viktor Tretyakov at the Cologne Academy of Music. He has appeared with numerous orchestras including the Moscow Philharmonic, Moscow State Symphony, Zurich Chamber, Cologne New Philharmonic, Charleston Symphony, Navarra Symphony, Thailand Philharmonic, New Japan Philharmonic, Jerusalem Symphony, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony and Sapporo Symphony orchestras. Chamber music partners include David Geringas, Nobuko Imai, Itzhak Perlman, Sunwook Kim, Sergey Malov, Daniel Gortler, Andrey Baranov and Pamela Frank. He made his debut on the viola at the Diaghilev Festival (Russia) in 2014, performing viola quintets with the David Oistrakh Quartet. Since 2012 he has been a member of the Michelangelo String Quartet.
